Prologue 26

Giving a Dharma sermon is meant to expand on as well as to extol Amida Nyorai and His Primal Vow, other than that there is no ‘Dharma’ to talk about. From the act of extolling, bombu can find shinjin.  

As a practicer of shinjin, when being asked ‘What is shinjin?’ one can say and think of nothing else but just extol Amida Nyorai and His Primal Vow.

Human who go round in circles on sense perception and intellect will never reach the ‘dawn of unsurpassed Pure Faith’. Therefore one needs to dig into the ‘Buddha wisdom and bombu’s wisdom’, ‘Buddha-mind and bombu-mind’, ‘enlightenment and delusion’ and deeply ponder over the power of oneself before one could naturally come to entrust reverently in the great oath, the Primal Vow Power.

‘Delusion is the nature of ordinary beings. Apart from delusion, there is no mind in us.’
