Evidence of My Birth

Through reliance on the Primal Vow and the Name, our birth in the Pure Land is revealed /discovered; this is truly an honourable and rare thing. Shinjin is the working of the Tathagata; from our side we naturally react with gratitude, "thank you, Namo Amida Butsu!" Nevertheless, to find the "evidence" of my birth within the Primal Vow/the Name, the Vow and the radiance, it needs several decades of your hard work and perseverance. Should you discover this "evidence" of my birth, as Rennyo is quoted as saying , "this settled mind—how readily we understand it! And the Pure Land—how easily we go there!" (Ofumi, Facsicle 2, Chapter 7)
