Nargajuna Bodhisattva's Verse

Nargajuna Bodhisattva's verse in the Koso Wasan goes:
"The ocean of birth-and-death, of painful existence, has no bound;
Only by the ship of Amida's universal Vow
Can we, who have long been drowning,
Unfailingly be brought across it."
生死の苦海ほとりなし
ひさしくしづめるわれらをば
弥陀弘誓のふねのみぞ
のせてかならずわたしける
This was the verse recited by Monshu Kozui Otani (the 22nd Monshu of Jodo Shinshu Nishi Hongwanji-ha) before he breathed his last.
Another verse recited was as follows:
"The power of the Vow is without limit;
Thus, even our karmic evil, deep and heavy, is not oppressive.
The Buddha's wisdom is without bounds;
Thus, even those of distracted minds and self-indulgence are not abandoned."
願力無窮にましませば
罪業深重もおもからず
仏智無辺にましませば
散乱放逸もすてられず
